Show Us Your Life-Dream China Pattern

This week I'm participating in Kelly's Korner "Show Us Your Life". This week They are showing China patterns. When Nathan and I got married we were so young that China patterns were not on our "NEED" list when registering. We both were coming basically from living with our parents and we needed more basic things. Now that I'm growing up into a semi adult I would really like start collecting pieces every now and then. My mom has a few peices from my grandma that I'm waiting paitently to receive. It's not a full collection so I would really like an entire collection to be able to use during those special occasions.

I LOVE the polka dots on this set! Who doesn't like polka dotsMaybe one day I will start asking for a few pieces for Christmas and Birthdays!!

Show Us Your Life-How Nathan and I Met

This week I'm joining Kelly's Korner "Show Us Your Life". This week the topic is How You Met your Husband/fiance. To start this story we must go way back.....

Once upon a time back, Nathan and I attended the same middle school. We were not what you called friends or even acquaintances, we just went students at the same middle school. My Sophomore year of high school I moved to Georgia where my family and I stayed until returning back to Alabama the summer I graduated high school. That is were our True Love Story begins!

I started working as a Hostess at Chili's where I met another hostess by the name of *Sue*. Sue was dating a guy who had a friend that she just felt obliged to set up. That is when Nathan enters the picture. Sue called me one night asking if I wanted to hang out and told me to met her at the local Tractor Supply store. Nathan just so happen to be the guy she wanted to set me up with. We met (again) and reconnected. After 2 months of were just friends hanging out we finally decided to make if official. After 1o months of dating Nathan asked me to Marry him and of course I said yes. On October, 2006 we were married in a little church down the road and have never looked back.

*Names have be changed due to...well because as this part of my pregnancy my brain is still jello and I can't remember to save my life*

New Year Resolutions

I have decided to take part in Kelly's Korner Show Us How You Life and this week is New Years Resolutions/ Goals.

I always make the same New Year Resolution very year......lost weight, exercise, and eat healthier. Well, if you know me at all you know that it has a 99.98% chance of NOT HAPPEN! I'm just not girl that likes to exercise, I love food and I don't have the will power to give up the daily mountain dew. With all that said this year I have decided to not make that resolution and instead make a few that are more realistic to ME!!!

I want to be a better wife and mother. I want to continue spending time with Nathan and Natalie and enjoy the time we do get to spend together as a family!

I am going to start cooking more often for my family and make healthier food choices.

I have strength some friendships this year and I want to strive to continue to keep those friends close.

I want to finish Natalie's 1st year scrapbook and start on her second year!! (hopefully finish within the next month or tw0) I also want to become more crafty and learn to sew better!

That is just a few of them. I hope everyone's New Year has started with a bang!

Show Us Your Life-Favorite Dessert Receipe

I'm joining Kelly's Korner Show Us Your Life again this week. This week is your favorite desserts recipes.

Triple-Layer Chocolate Pie

1 big package of chocolate instant pudding
2 cups of milk
1 oreo pie crust
1 8oz tube of cool whip

Mix pudding and milk together a whisk for a few minutes
Spread 1 1/2 cups pudding onto first layer of pie crust.
Mix half the cool whip with the remainder of the pudding then spread over layer in crust.
Top with remaining cool whip
and regrigerate for a few hours!

I love this receipe because not only is it a chocolate overload (which I love) it is also really simple to make and takes no time at all.

Show Us Your LIfe - Wedding Shower

To become a more regular blogger I have decided to join a few regular blog carnivals. This Friday I decided to join Kelly's Korner and show you some of my life. This week they are showing wedding showers and since I just found pictures of Nathan and My shower I thought I would share.

Some of my bridal party decided to throw me a Tool and Gadget Party. It was a great time and a way to get the men involved in all the fun!!!

We played a game where we had to answer questions about the other person. If we got any wrong, we had to karaoke that many songs. It was really embarrassing!

I also had a church shower, which was more family and church members. I love our church family they are so giving!

Both of my showers were small and personal. Which I would not have had it any other way! Hope you enjoyed going down memory lane with me, I sure did!!
