Roll Tide Roll!

This past weekend was the 4th game for the Alabama Crimson Tide and we are 4-0!!! We headed over to a friends for game day!!!Here is Natalie on the way to watch the game! We talked about all the possibilities of how this game would turn out!

This was her reactions to if we lost! What we lost to an unranked team!
If we were forced into over-time! It would be a toe bitter!
If heaven forbid out favorite "Big Man" (Cody) got injured!! The HORROR!!
Of course this was her showing us how happy she would be if we won!! Which we did! A big happy toothy grin!

Then of course it was game time!!! Natalie watched most of the game. She needed to rest up during the last part of the 2nd quarter and a little while in the 3rd but was back in the game for the 4th!

Here she is watching the game.Natalie concentrating on the game

ROLLLLLLLLLL TIDE ROLL!!!

TOUCHDOWN!

AND OF COURSE THE BIGGEST NEWS OF THE NIGHT!! (besides Alabama beating Arkansas)! We got video of Natalie taking her first steps towards walking!! It was so exciting! Soon by baby girl will be a cruisin toddler!!

*WARNING* The video you are about to watch was made on a camera with subjects very proud mama that was not paying attention on how the video would be viewed later on! Sorry!

Show Us Your Life-Favorite Dessert Receipe

I'm joining Kelly's Korner Show Us Your Life again this week. This week is your favorite desserts recipes.

Triple-Layer Chocolate Pie

1 big package of chocolate instant pudding
2 cups of milk
1 oreo pie crust
1 8oz tube of cool whip

Mix pudding and milk together a whisk for a few minutes
Spread 1 1/2 cups pudding onto first layer of pie crust.
Mix half the cool whip with the remainder of the pudding then spread over layer in crust.
Top with remaining cool whip
and regrigerate for a few hours!

I love this receipe because not only is it a chocolate overload (which I love) it is also really simple to make and takes no time at all.

The Sun Will Come Out

The sun will come out, tomorrow Bet your bottom dollar That tomorrow, therell be sun Jus thinkin about, tomorrow Clears away the cobwebs and the sorrow til theres none When Im stuck with the day thats gray and lonely I just stick out my chin and grin and say, ohhh The sun will come out, tomorrow So you gotta hang on til tomorrow Come what may...

For the past...oh I can't remember anymore...it has been nothing but rainy everyday. I can't remember the last time I have seen the sun. That is until today!! It was finally sunny...oh it still rained but we finally got a glimpse of the sun. It may have only been for a little while but oh it was there. On my way home from work and driving through the last part of a rain storm when I thought we had lost the sun for the remainder of the day, there it was only if only for a few moments the sun accompanied with a rainbow.

It reminded me of a bible verse
"Whenever the rainbow appears in the clouds, I will see it
and remember the everlasting covenant between God and
all living creatures of every kind on the earth."
Genesis 9:16

When life is rainy we must remember that God will always keep His promise! And that should put a smile on anybody face even when it has been raining for the past...oh i can't remember anymore....days

And now onto Natalie news!!! She had school pictures today. The photographer and I could not get her to smile for anything. She just had this look on her face saying "Look lady I ain't gonna smile for you so give it up!!" So eventually we gave up!!

Here are a few pictures of her this past Sunday before church. She was wearing the same outfit as today but I did not get a chance to get pictures this morning before we had to leave.

And of course the last picture is a close-up of her new bow she got this past weekend when we went to the craft show. She got two other solid colored ones. Nathan thinks they are huge....but a LOVE them!!

Sippy Cups & Halloween

I know Halloween is still an entire month away....but I bought Natalie's costume this week! I decided not to got with the lamb or the kitty cat but found something even cuter. I'm not going to spill the beans entirely until Halloween but I'll give a quick peak!

Since Natalie is rounding the corner till her 1st birthday, I thought it might be time to really start on the sippy cup thing. She has been given a sippy cup but mostly she just played with it. We are starting to really get her to actually drink from it. She loves banging it around and throwing it at us!

Just chewing on her cup!

This is her in mid bang!

No, mommy does not want any!

Hey, Where did you find that?

When Natalie was born the hospital gave us a huge green pacifier. We tried and tried to get her take that thing but she never took a liking to it. So we tossed it in her room and really never thought about it again. Until it some how wandered out into the living room and into her pack-n-play. When she found it, she had no clue what to do with it. She chewed on it many different ways, even tried to suck on it backwards. I really enjoyed watching her explore that old thing and now that she played with it and gave it a test drive......she's back to her nuk pacifier.
