Pajama Day

Yesterday Natalie and I decided to have ourselves a pajama day. We just relaxed at home and got a few things done. Natalie helped clean out Brody's room by pulling out all the toys I had put in his closet (the ones Natalie had grown out of). She was excited to see some of her old toys but was not very happy when I went to put them back up! While hanging out in out pajamas yesterday Natalie decided she wanted to change into her mickey mouse Christmas pajamas but would not take off her other pajamas! She wore her flannel pajamas over her heart pajamas and refused to take any of it off until bath time later that evening!

While watching Yo Gabba Gabba, Natalie decided she was going to play along and make funny faces!!

Today we braved the HOT weather and went into town with Amy to get a few last minute things for the baby shower! I can't wait to see Natalie all dressed up in her big sister outfit I made/bought her!!!

32 Weeks

Wow can't believe we are at 32 weeks. I want to say that this pregnancy has just flown by but then again at times I feel like it was crept slowly. I don't have my doctors appointment until Friday so we have a wait the entire week to hear Brody's heartbeat. Also this weekend is my baby shower. I am looking forward to seeing everyone and being able to celebrate the future arrival of Brody.

Pregnancy Highlights:

How Far Along: 32 weeks
Total Weight Gain/Loss: to be honest I have not been keeping up. All I know is that I feel HUGE!
Maternity Clothes: I have been wearing a lot of dresses and skirts, they are the most comfy since I'm getting bigger and since it had been horribly HOT!
Best Moment this week: just relaxing and hanging out with family
Gender: It's A Boy - Brody Nathaniel
Movement: Yes, I love to feel him move but it is definitely starting to become uncomfortable and at time painful.
Food Craving: FOOD! I am hungry all the time.
What I miss: Sleeping through the night and being cold all the time.
Sleep: I average about 4 to 5 hours a night but it is not consecutive hours.
What I am looking forward to: My doctor's appointment Friday and my baby shower on Saturday
Belly Button: In for now, but it looks like it is going to POP out!
Symptoms: Swelling in my legs and feet, tired and contractions when I over do it and not drink enough.

ONLY 8 MORE WEEKS LEFT!!!

Pillow Pet

This past Friday, Natalie and I took a trip to the mall with Nana. We were there with no real intention to buy anything. Well.....we ended up walking out with a pillow pet! Natalie is in love with her pillow. She held that pillow all the way through the mall and would not let it go. She has slept with it ever since buying it.

I was sitting a little ways away watching her as she and Nana waited in line with her second cousin to go on the jumping things they always had at the mall. I was getting a kick at watching her just cling to this pillow that was as big as she was!

What we have been up too...

I have been horrible about taking pictures the past week! We have been busy getting things done and I have not been able to think past what we are doing at the time. We have a busy rest of the week ahead! I have family coming in for a visit, whom I have not seen since this time last year. I am very excited and can't wait.

What have we been up to these past week....well

Nathan finally painted to nursery! I love the color. It is light yellow yellow and I think it is going to match his bedding perfectly.
The other important that needed to done.....is done. We ordered furniture this past Monday. It should be here by the end of next week. It is simple (which is what I wanted)! I can't wait till it arrives so Nathan can set it up!
I have been working on things to put on his wall. I have not been able to do much since I wanted to set up the nursery furniture and see how everything looks. I did do up some canvases, that I think turned out super cute.

I'm hopping to be finished with his nursery within the next couple weeks! Then all we need is to wait for Brody to make his debut into the world! :)

4th of July

Our 4th of July started out with a little trip to Labor and Delivery. After two doses Terbutaline and promises to rest and drink lots of fluids we were on our way home. After a nap it was time to start out 4th of July celebration. Nathan smoked some ribs and my parents came over to eat and set off fire works. We planned a low key 4th (which turned out to be a good thing)!

Natalie enjoyed throwing those poppers

Watching some firecrackers go off.

Sitting with Nana watching the firecrackers. Natalie actually loved the fire works. I was afraid she was going to be afraid of them but she loved it.
We had a great 4th of July. Natalie ended up falling asleep during the fire work show.
