Sittin Big

Natalie has been sitting unsupported so well lately. She is still a little wobbly and will fall backward with no warning what so ever. Her personality has really been showing lately, a little high maintenance and a touch of drama queen thrown in. What did you expect....she is her mothers daughter!!!
Natalie has also grown to love our dog, Molly. They both enjoy playing together. Well, Natalie just sits there laughing while Molly jumps around barking!

We are still are doing tummy time, in hopes that one day she will just decide to start crawling. She is at the point now that she will turn herself around in circles and once I think she has army crawled a tiny bit to get to a toy!!

Getting Ready for the Beach

Only 42 more days till we are headed to the beach!!!

Last night Natalie was trying out her sunglasses and hat....just to make sure they looked good with each other!! What do you think? Don't worry she does have the matching bathing suit! We all are looking forward to a nice relaxing time at the beach with no worries.

OUR HIGHS
Natalie is finally feeling better.
My last day at this job is Friday, May 22 and I could not be more ecstatic!! I'm going back to the day care that I worked at prior to this job and again I'm ecstatic!!!
Having an entire week off to spend with Nathan and Natalie before between changing jobs and our good friends weeding thrown in.

OUR LOWS
It refuses to stop raining for more than one day!!
It's gonna rain Sunday....out of all the days I hate when it rains Sunday. I like going to church looking at least half way decent!!
I still need to get my dress altered for my friends weeding in two weeks!!! (I'll get on that soon)


On another note, I think Natalie has started to army crawl. I'm not completely sure because she did not go to far. There was a toy she really wanted but it was a hair out of reach. I did not get it on video and I was the only one that saw, well besides the dogs and their not talking!!! Also this week I heard Natalie really laugh, she was laughing at the dog. Nathan has heard her before, when again she was laughing at a dog. I did not have the camera on me to record it and by the time I grabbed the camera she was over it. I need to start attaching the camera to my hip from now on!!!

6 Month Stats

Natalie had her 6 month well baby check-up and the result are in......
Weight: 13lbs (we do feed her I promise)
Height: 26 inches
She officially has 2 teeth, can turn over both ways and can sit unsupported for a minute or two before she topples over.

Our Highs:
Having been blessed with a happy, beautiful daughter who turned 6 months this week!!
Our amazing support system with family and friends.
The opportunity to go back to the job I enjoyed and left in 2007, to resolve personal issues.
Being blessed to have trivial lows while some are going through a difficult and uncertain season in lives.

Our Lows:
Every time we think Natalie is finally getting over her cough it comes back and shows its ugly face.
The constant tornado weather this past month and seeming to be sitting on the edge of our seats weekly glued to wall to wall weather coverage. (You have to love a good southern spring)

Today I was going through the picture on my computer and organizing them. I came across two similar pictures taken at different ages. I was amazed at how much Natalie had grown. It blows my mind that my little baby is not so little anymore. She is finally starting to put weight on to go along with her length.

HAPPY 1/2 BIRTHDAY NATALIE!!!

I can't believe she is already 6 months!!!! I'm working on a post for later this week about the past 6 months. Hopefully I will post it before the end of the week!!!

This past weekend I went out of town to the Women of Joy Conference with some ladies from church. I did not expect to have so much fun. The last time I went was two years ago and my experience was completely different. I think it had a lot to do with the fact I was feeling horrible. My sister-in-law begged me to go, so I jumped on board hoping this time around things would be different. IT WAS!!! I had a blast (some minor bumps in the road). The best part was Casting Crowns preformed!!! Even though I had a blast, I missed Nathan and Natalie horribly. It was the first time I was away from Natalie for more then a night and that only has happened twice in the past 6 months. I'm a home-body at heart. Nathan and Natalie had a good time at home. Nothing to exciting happened while I was away. I had a great time but am glad I'm home getting back in the swing of things!!!!
