Warmer Weather

The weather here this past week has been beautiful! On Tuesday I took the kids outside to play and enjoy the sun shine!

For some reason Natalie loves to play on the deck. She will go up and down the steps all day long, picking up "pokey" balls from the yard and placing them into the pots that sit on the deck. With going up and down the steps comes the occasional boo boo!


Brody is loving being outside. He just wishes he could join his sister in all the fun!

We had a lot of fun being outside! I am looking forward to being outside more often now that it is starting to warm up a bit.

Valentines Day

The kids and I had a great Valentines Day. Nothing special just a relaxing day hanging around the house baking, playing outside and doing a few crafts.


Natalie and I started the day as soon as Nathan left for work. We baked him a cake to surprise him when we came home for lunch! Natalie loves to help me bake. As soon as I say anything about it she is in the kitchen getting ready. Then it was time to make daddy a Valentines Day card! This was Natalie first time using glue. I think she did a good job. I ripped up some paper and let her paste it on a heart. Nathan was pleasantly surprised by his cake and card!


After lunch the kids and I went outside take advantage of this warm weather.


Later in the day we TRIED to have a mini Valentines Photo Shoot! We failed miserable!

It was a simple but great way to spend Valentines Day!

Brody {five months}

Wow five months! That is the age of my baby! It is hard to believe that you are five months today. They have flown by!

At five months you are weighing in at 17 pounds and wearing 6-12 months clothes! I'm looking forward to getting you out of your infant car seat!

At five months you are just now really interacting with us! You love to watch your big sister run around and you are eager to join her.

You love your feet. 90% of the time you are holding them or they are in your mouth. The same as your hands. We think you are teething because you chew on anything and everything you can get your hands on.

You are a great sleeper. You take 2 good naps, 2 cat naps and you sleep from 8:00 to 6:00!

You are a smiley baby and love to giggle. You are one of the giggliest baby I have ever came across! You love to smile and talk to your big sister.

We are practicing sitting up. I think you will have it figured out soon!

You have been the greatest addition of out family and your daddy, sister and mommy love you every much!
