Constant Motion
Natalie is always in constant motion these days. It is extremely hard to get a good picture of her because she is always on the move. I try really hard but they all come out blurry. I have given up on getting that perfect picture of her until she is older and will listen when I say sit still. I will take what I can get and cherish them!

Our Life Lately
We have been not so busy this past week (which I have enjoyed). Just hanging out at home, filling our days with play time.
This past week Brody had a doctor appointment for his 4 month check-up. He is weighing in at 15 pounds (only two more pounds to go and he will weigh what Natalie weighed at ONE YEAR!!) The doctor was happy with his growth. Right where he should be. She said he could start solids. But wanted us to try prunes first, we are still trying to get things moving with him more regularly (if you know what I mean). Other than that he is doing well and we will go back in 2 months. Natalie was exceptionally good while at the doctors office. She did cry when the doctor came in (she did not want the doctor looking at "her" baby). Nathan took her to look at the fish while Brody got shots (did not want to traumatizes her).
Besides the doctor appointment we have been hanging around! We did have three big achievements in one day, Friday.
First, Brody had his first taste of prunes and I think he enjoyed it!
Second, Natalie is officially PACI FREE!! What a relief this is. It was pretty dramatic around here the first day, okay the second day and has yet to ask for it today!
Natalie decided she was leaving. She had her books and shoes with her has she tried to leave. And yes she has figured out how to open the door. We now keep all the outside doors dead bolted!
and third, Brody rolled over!! After a few weeks of almost he finally rolled!
The weather folks are calling for a possibility of a foot of snow again this week :( We might be snowed in again this week! Good thing I did not have anything planned for the week!!

Project Life: Week 2
Sunday, January 9th: Not only was today my 25th birthday but we also dedicated Brody at church. It was a very special day for Nathan and I. God has blessed us with two beautiful children.
Monday, January 10th: We woke up to 8 inches of snow. This was the most snow Alabama has seen in 20 years. Natalie had a great time playing and building a "Snows" Man with her daddy!!
Tuesday, January 11th: Our 2nd day of being snowed in. We stayed in our "lounge" wear all day and hung out.
Wednesday, January 12th: Day 3 of being snowed in!!
Thursday, January 13th: Day 4 of being stuck inside!! We also celebrated Brody's 4 month Birthday. He is becoming such a big boy!
Friday, January 14th: We finally got out of the house. It was such a great feeling. The kids and I went to Target and walked around just to be out of the house. We also finally moved Brody into his room! We all slept great. I do still wake up a few times a night just to check on him!!
Saturday, January 15th: We spent most of the day running errands and getting a few things done around the house. Natalie loves helping put away laundry! She enjoys carrying it into the rooms putting in the draws (99% of the time she puts it in the wrong draw....but it is the thought that counts).

Brody {four months}
Ahhh, why is time flying by? It is hard to believe you are four months old today. So what have you been up to this past month?
You are weighing in at approximately 15 pounds (your doctors appointment is not until the 18th).
You are wearing size 2 diapers still and are mostly in 6 month clothes!
You love giggling and smiling! You still have your moments but are mostly a happy baby now (You were not always)!
You are finally enjoying playing on the floor on your mat, you occasionally will tolerate tummy time for a few minutes.
You enjoy sitting in your bouncy seat in the kitchen while I make dinner. You will talk away and are so happy just watching your sister and I in the kitchen!!
You have recently become super drolly! You are always blowing bubbles. I have to consistently change your bib out!
You have found your feet. You are always grabbing at them and holding onto them!!
These past four months have been a real blessing!! I love every minute we spend together.

Project Life: Week 1
Sunday, January 2nd: After a very long (at least thats the way it seemed) Christmas, we finally celebrated our finally Christmas with my sister and her family.
Monday Jan. 3rd: We enjoyed the day lounging around the house all day. We stayed in our pajamas all day and played.
Tuesday, Jan. 4th: In an effort to try and convince Natalie that there are NO monsters in her bedroom, Nathan took Natalie to play in her room. It was cute watching them play with her doll house together.
Wednesday, Jan. 5th: NO PICTURE It as a lazy rainy day until the kids and I had to venture out. I had a hair appointment and the kids went over to Nathans Me-maws to play and visit.
Thursday, Jan. 6th: Natalie was suppose to be napping but instead decided to load her bed up with ALL her books. At least she enjoys readying!!
Friday, Jan. 7th: Friday was a low key day (kinda). After a little shopping (A target run) we hung around the house till dinner. We met up with my parents to celebrate my birthday at Carrabba's. The food, of course, was amazing
Saturday, Jan. 8th: Nathan surprised me that morning with a birthday cupcake and some diet Dr. Pepper (what more can a girl ask for)!! We spent the day in town doing a little shopping then Nathan and I headed out to dinner with some friends to celebrate round 2 of my Birthday!!!! We went to my new favorite restaurant, Bone Fish Grill, and it was AWESOME!! Sunday (Jan. 9th) is my actually birthday....and my finally round of fun!!

3rd and FINAL Christmas
Sunday the kids and I celebrated our last and FINAL Christmas of the season (Nathan had to work). We had not yet had Christmas with my sister and her family due to some scheduling difficulties. So yesterday afternoon we headed to Nannie and Paps house to open gifts and eat a wonderful after Christmas meal of pizza (you know I was in heaven). Natalie received a huge box of Gold Fish from Paps, pajamas and books from Aunt Tonya, Uncle Jon and Lexi. Brody received some outfits from them to.
We had a nice time! But with that being said....I am soooo OVER CHRISTMAS!!! Nathan and I have talked about some new traditions we would like in incorporate in next year, what traditions we have not done the past couple years (due to whatever reasons) that we will be bringing back and (I know my mom is going to cring at this one) Nathan and I have to decide how much of Santa we will be bring into our Christmas. This year he was not a big deal since Natalie did not fully understand but by next year she will understand and we need to decide if we are doing the Santa thing.
