Busy Weekend
This past weekend was a busy one for us!!!!!
On Saturday Natalie finally decided it was time to start rolling over!!! She finally did it. She was playing on the floor while I caught up on some of my blogs on the laptop. Then with no warning she flipped her self from her belly to back. Just to make sure it was not a fluke we tried it again....and their she went a rolling. I was so excited as I figured she would be crawling before she ever started rolling. But with the rolling came another huge change. She was going to have to sleep at night without being swaddled. I did not want her to figure out how to roll and then not being able to roll back over because her arms were swaddled. Which we had been trying causally to not swaddle her a night but was never serious about it. Until Saturday night. Saturday she did horrible she was up every 2 hours. Sunday night she did awesome. Sleeping the entire night. We will see how tonight goes.
**I have a video of her rolling over I'll post later, I don't have it saved to my work computer**
Also on Saturday Natalie spent some time with Nana, Aunt Tonya, and Lexi shopping while Nathan and I went to a friends wedding. The wedding was sweet and short!!!
Sunday was our day of rest, well at least for Nathan and Natalie. After church, as I headed into work for a bit, Nathan and Natalie went home to enjoy some extra sleep time since we ALL did not have such a great night!!!! That evening we went to see our friends Chris and Amy's new house!!! Which I have to say is awesome. They did such a great job painting and fixing it up!!!!!
I promise to post some new pictures and the video of her FINALLY rolling over next post!!!

YUMMY....Sweet Potatoes
Last night we decided to try and give Natalie sweet potatoes instead of the boring ol' cereal. Surprisingly she did really well. She ate it like a champ and enjoyed it!!!!! I'm surprised at how well she is taking to spoon feeding. We do have to make sure she is in a good mood because if you catch her in one of her moods, she wants nothing to do with spoon feeding. Next week green beans!!!!!!
I promise she really did like them. You really can't tell by the face she was making!!!

Bibs, Bunnys, and Bear
Saturday mornings......I woke up to the sound of Natalie talking to herself in her crib having a good ol' time. As I walked into her bedroom, I found her in the most unusual way......
Natalie also decided this week she was tired of her same ol' sitting places....so she decided to find a new one!!!
With one leg out of her swaddle and an arm poking out. This was a first for her. She usually will manage to get hers arms out the top. We fixed that problem this week by getting her a smaller swaddle but now she has figured out how to get her leg out. We will praise the day she will sleep the entire night without the swaddle. We are waiting for her Moro reflex to subside.
I finally found her 1st St. Patrick's Day bib, it was the trunk of my car....don't ask how it got back there. It is only a few days late!!!!
Natalie also decided to wear her bunny slippers this morning.
She was sporting two different holidays this morning St. Patrick's Day and Easter. Sporting the bib and slippers!!!!Natalie also decided this week she was tired of her same ol' sitting places....so she decided to find a new one!!!

Picture Perfect
Yesterday we got Natalie's 4 month pictures done. She did an awesome job, smiling and cooing for the camera.
Today Natalie and I relaxed at home and ran a few errands. We took a trip to Target and picked out a few things to put in her Easter Basket and a Easter dress for me. Later in the evening We took a drive to Tennessee and went to eat dinner with Amy and everyone else. We missed daddy today (he was at work) and can't wait to see him tomorrow!!!!

Happy St. Patrick's Day
HAPPY ST. PATRICK'S DAY!!!!!
Nathan was in the St. Patrick's Day Parade downtown today with the fire dept. I unfortunately could not go....so I did not get a picture of him!! Here is one with some of the guys. Thanks to The Huntsville Times.
I misplaced Natalie's 1st. St. Patrick's Day bib while re-organizing her bedroom and was unable to take a picture of her in it today. Maybe if I find it in the next couple of days I'll take a picture!!!!

I love waking up in the morning to the sound of Natalie talking to her self in her crib. Every night we put her to sleep swaddled in her swaddle me blanket and every morning this is how she looks!! Arms out and blanket around her chest. She always greets us with the biggest smile on her face in the morning. It is one of the best times of the day. Unfortunately I could not get her to smile for the camera this morning. She was probably thinking it was to early for pictures!!!!

So Far This Week
So far this week we have had our ups and downs. The time change has completely throw us all a little crazy. Saturday night Natalie started developing a cough, which in turned into a head cold. Which woke her up about every other hour coughing. Sunday, Natalie was dedicated at church. It was wonderful. The entire family came and after words we went to eat at O' Charley's with Mom, Dad, Joe, Janice, and Uncle Matt. The rest of Sunday was just us resting at home, Nathan was not feeling so well. He caught my cold that I had last week. Monday, Natalie had her 4Th month check-up. She weights 11 lbs and is 24 1/2 inches long. The doctor was amazed on how far advanced she is. The doctors said that Natalie was 2 months ahead of her age!!!! They also tested her for RSV, which came came back negative!!!! Later that evening Amy and Chris came over for dinner. It was nice having them over. We sat outside since it was nice and had a little fire in the back yard. Tuesday, it was back to work for Nathan and me. Natalie spent the entire day with Paw Paw and Memaw Claudine. She came home spoiled rotten as usual. That brings as to Wednesday!!!! Nathan and Natalie went grocery shopping while I was at work. Molly got out of the back yard some how. Nathan tried to find her but it was hard to look with a screaming 4 month old and considering it was dark outside and Molly is all black. Luckily Michael was on his was home and was just taking a quick look around and found her. All is well that ends well!!!

First Foods
This week we started Natalie on rice cereal. She looked so tiny in her high chair. She has yet to master the skill of eating with a spoon, yet seemed to enjoy the challenge. Since the day we brought her home from the hospital, she has been a difficult baby to feed. We could never understand if it was the bottle she didn't like or the formula or whatever else. Over the bast couple of weeks she has gotten better and takes her bottles like a champ. It was a surprise when she took so easily to the spoon. She is still having trouble with the whole swallow idea but she is getting there.
This next couple of weeks are going to be crazy with work and planning a couples shower for our friends Chris and Amy! I'm excited for the shower but ready for it to be over. I'm just hoping that the weather is nice that day (April 4th) since it is going to be outside. We all know how crazy the weather can be in the spring down south.
Also please pray for a sweet baby boy, Jonah, and his parents. He was born with a rare, genetic skin condition called "EB". Head over to their blog to read more about their story. They are an amazing couple still grieving from the loss of their first born, Gabe, in April 2008 and trying to cope with this. All the while praising God!!

Here We Go!!
I decided to start a blog to help keep family and friends updated on out lives and for one day when Natalie gets older she can look back and read about what our daily lives where like. I'm so excited about starting a blog. I have been a long time reader of others and finally decide to start my own.
Natalie is a big 4 month old today!!!!!
I'm amazed everyday at how much she has changed over the past couple on months. I can still remember the day I found out I was pregnant, calling Nathan at work (to excited to wait till he got home), sitting in the doctors office waiting for our first ultrasound, the trip to the emergency room at 12 wks, the day we found out it was going to be a girl (tons of people had money on she being a boy), preterm labor at 33 wks and finally the day she was born. It has been a long traveled path, but one that has been worth every minute.
I'm excited for the weekend ahead. Natalie will be getting dedicated to the Lord Sunday at church and I'm looking forward to be able to rejoice with family and friends of what a beautiful and health baby girl that God was blessed Nathan and I with.
